Enterprise Search – $2,500 – $75,000
Every corporation has information stored in various silos that may be used by many different actors to perform their duties and make intelligent decisions. From customers who need specific information about a product, to employees who want to know how to do this or that, there are many ways in which better search can improve your business. We use open source technology to implement enterprise search for our clients’ websites, intranets, extranets, or any other sources data.
Google Custom Search – $2,500 – $5,000
Every website can use better search. We will take your existing site with all of its content and integrate it Google’s Custom Search engine. All the content on your site will be indexed by Google, and Google will generate Ajax-based search right within your site. This is a great option for all sorts of businesses looking to improve the ability of their customers to find their products and/or services.
Solr Enterprise Search Integration – $2,5000 – $75,000
Solr is an open source search application based on top of Lucene. It provides enterprise search capabilities which allow consolidated indexing of all company documents. We utilize Solr to create an integrated search solution for your entire organization which helps various actors in your organization find the right information at the right time thereby increasing productivity. As with all open source solutions there is no licensing costs.
According to Google’s white paper, an organization with 10,000 employees can generate an ROI of 22 million by implementing better search solution.
We first identify all of your data stores. We then narrow down a list of stores that you actually think would be beneficial to the various actors in your organization. After we narrow the stores down, we analyze the type of documents within those stores. We then formulate a strategy of how we are going to index the documents, meaning which fields we are going to index, how those fields will be stored in Solr, and how those fields will later be queried by the front-end. Often within these steps we will interview the users of these documents to get their input on their preferences of search functionality. Finally, once we have designed the index, we integrate the search into your existing intranet through a search component.
Elastic Search
